Safe Handling Instructions: This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat and/or poultry. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Cooking Instructions: Pan Fry: Place slices in a single layer in frying pan. Cook over low heat for 6 to 8 minutes on both sides until desired crispness. Broil: Place slices on rack on broiler pan. Set pan 3 to 3 1/2 inches under heat and broil 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until crisp. Microwave: Place slices on two sheets of paper towels in a shallow microwave-safe dish. Cover slices with another paper towel. Cook on high. 2 slices = 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. 4 slices = 2 1/2 to 3 minutes. For food safety, cook pork products to a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees F. A thermometer cannot be used to probe bacon due to inadequate depth of the product. Perishable keep refrigerated.
