Safe Handling Instructions: This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat and/or poultry. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Cook thoroughly. Preparation (Caution: Cheese will be hot): Thaw product prior to cooking. Grill: Preheat grill to medium-low. Add sausage. Cook, covered, for 15-20 minutes until sausage is browned and the internal temperature is 160 degrees F, turning links often. Stovetop: Spray a skillet with cooking spray. Add sausage. Cook over medium-high heat until browned, about 5 minutes, turning links often. Reduce heat to medium-low. Carefully add 1/2 cup water to skillet. Cover and simmer for 12 minutes until the internal temperature is 160 degrees F. Previously handled frozen for your protection. Refreeze or keep refrigerated. Storage: Prepare within 3 days of purchase or freeze for up to 30 days.
