Keep frozen. Preparation Instructions: Defrost before cooking. To Defrost: Do not open the vacuum-pack - Defrost overnight in refrigerator (38 degrees F) or submerge entire vacuum package in cold water until thawed (approx 40 minutes or until product is completely defrosted). Cook promptly after thawing. Remove from packaging by cutting with scissors around the protective plastic wrap. Barbeque: Preheat BBQ to med-high heat (approx 425 degrees F / 220 degrees C). Place the salmon and plank directly over the BBQ grill and close cover for approximately 18-20 minutes or until internal core temperature reaches 145 degrees F. When cooking on the BBQ have a spray bottle handy in case of flare ups. Conventional Oven: Preheat oven to 425 degrees F / 220 degrees C. Place the salmon and plank directly on middle rack. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until internal core temperature reaches 145 degrees F. Ovens & grills vary; cooking times may need to be adjusted. Do not overcook. Salmon is cooked when flesh becomes flakey. Salmon is perfectly cooked when it is still slightly pink in the center of the fillet. Remove immediately from cooking source. Product will continue to cook after you remove from the grill. Salmon will easily come off the plank when serving. Do not reuse the plank.
